GURU SUKANTH KRISHNA [35015]

Having been a part of two meetings so far, I can say that the discussions that took
place have certainly had a positive impact on me. The first meeting started off
with introductions and getting to know fellow mentees and our mentor, Mr.
Sriraman sir, better. Since, this meeting happened during the early days of our 1 st
year, I had a lot of doubts about the post-grad life and the MBA curriculum in
general, which were resolved by our mentor and I got a nice insight about BIM’s
academic and cultural history from his perspective. All of us mentees got our
questions individually answered. Overall, a fresh outlook on how to face what
was coming up and how does one pace himself through the academic work and
the extracurricular activities, that the 2nd and 3rd trimester was going to bring, was
the biggest takeaway from the first meeting.

The second meeting happened later on, during the start of the 3rd trimester.
By that time, I had got accustomed to the way of life at BIM. However, since I
did not get selected by any company for the summer internship, by then, I had a
lot of questions running through my mind about the whole Corporate Immersion
Programme (CIP). I was puzzled about various things ranging from what kind of
a role would I be offered to how the stipend system work to writing a post-
completion report. Fruitful discussions happened, and our mentor patiently
guided us through all the clarifications that was put on the table. I personally, got
those 3 majorly burning doubts clarified and this helped me get my mind set and
settled with respect to CIP. This, I believe is the biggest takeaway for me, from
the second meeting.
