ICT ASSIGNMENT #1

1. What is ICT?
- Stands for "Information and Communication Technologies." ICT refers
to technologies that provide access to information through telecommunications.
Although there is no single, universal definition of ICT, the term is generally
accepted to mean all devices, networking components, applications and systems
that combined allow people and organizations (i.e., businesses, nonprofit
agencies, governments and criminal enterprises) to interact in the digital world.
2. Why ICT is important?
- it’s a central tool that supports teaching and learning at all stages of
education and across all areas of the curriculum. We live in a world consumed by
technology: a world that provides incredible opportunities for young students who
are just setting out on their educational journey.
3. What is the role of ICT?
- The main role of ICT is to enhance our skills in properly using of modern
technology and multimedia purposes.
