ICT is an important part of our lives and in all
aspects in our society.
Uses of ICT:
Communication
Nowadays people are in touch with the help of ICT.
Through chatting, E-mail, voice mail and social networking
people communicate with each other. It is the cheapest
means of communication

Job Opportunities
In the employment sector, ICT enables
organizations to operate more efficiently,
so employing staff with ICT skills is vital to
the smooth running of any business.
Being able to use ICT systems effectively
allows employees more time to
concentrate on areas of their job role that
require soft skills.

Education
Schools use a diverse set of ICT tools
to communicate, create, disseminate,
store, and manage information.
In some contexts, ICT has also
become integral to the teaching-
learning interaction

Social media has changed the world.
The rapid and vast adoption of these
technologies is changing how we find
partners, how we access information
from the news, and how we organize
to demand political change.

ICT offers a variety of entertainment and leisure activities
and allows for quick access to movies or music that can be
easily accessed, and you can watch movies and listen to
music directly from the Internet.

• Home Electronics
ICT equipment is used to increase access to home care.
• Medical Science
ICT are related to the devices, resources and tools needed
to improve the acquisition, retrieval, storage and use of
information in health and biomedicine.

• Finance
ICT is used daily by financial companies, to trade financial
instruments, to report a business's earnings, and to keep
records of personal budgets.
• Agriculture
ICT in agriculture helps in the growing demand for new
approaches and focuses on enhancing agricultural and rural
development through better information and communication
processes.

• Business
The use of information and communications technology is
very important for businesses to establish a hassle-free and
secure communication flow and to meet daily operational
tasks.
• Public Sector Management:
ICT is used to facilitate more convenient government
services, make the government more transparent and
accountable to citizens, promote a more efficient and cost-
effective government.
