Jack’s parents did not help him because once he solved the sum by himself, he
would be able to register in his mind and learn.

Bina said that the lady upstairs had thrown some water over the balcony and
wet her blazer. Hence her mother advised her to wear the oversized blazer.

Certainly not.

Sister steele said that those geese belonged to the girls to play and to look

Bina caught Marco polo and tossed him inside her overcoat. He struggled to
free himself and stuck out conspicuously

in a marvelous formation. He made the children look at the birds wings,
how they flapped to generate lift and how they twisted their tails for
changing the direction.

1.Why did the teacher take the whole class to the seashore? Did it help
them?
The teacher drew a diagram of a bird in flight and explained how it
creates lift. He also explained how it changes direction while flying .
For twenty five minutes he lectured the class on topics such as lift, drag
and how the birds fly in formations of ten, twenty or thirty

When the teacher came to know that the students did not understand
his lecture on flights, he decided to take them to the seashore to explain
the principles of flight using a practical example.
2.What subjects did kalam study to obtain his goal in life? What was his goal?
When he went to college, he took up physics and then went on to study
engineering at the madras institute of technology. There he took up
aeronautical engineering. He became a rocket engineer, an aerospace
engineer, and a technologist.
