In the contemporary era, social networking sites and television channels that
broadcast current affairs have a negative influence on people’s daily lives. I
disagree with the idea that the development of digital news provides a harmful
impact on society.

To begin with, modern media sources have made great inroads in the spreading
of knowledge. These days, mass media provides people with a variety of global
news in all fields, including the political situation, economic change, global
warming, education which help people to enhance their knowledge. Moreover,
the media also shapes our minds to understand each other's cultural values and
perspectives because it brings us views of different people over the same issues
and based on the circumstances we react, oppose and even embrace these
different views. Secondly, the usefulness of the media in almost instantly
providing the latest information about events around the world is undeniable and
more interesting to the viewer. This is because technological advancements, such
as the Internet, is bringing more forms of electronic news to our homes and
workplaces. For example, people can update worldwide news with just one click
on their mobile devices wherever they are.

Admittedly, media could also bring a bad influence to the viewer because
sometimes media is used to spread false news and to manipulate public opinions
which has a detrimental effect on people's life. Nonetheless, news digital, which
has the ability to change people's minds can also be used to spread right values
and educate people.

To conclude, I believe that the development of news media has positively affected
the lives of people by relaxing them with plentiful entertainment news and
enriching people's knowledge with instant worldwide information.
