The theme of this verse is the oneness and unity of
Allah .He is beyond us humans and He has the total authority over all of His creations as He is the master of the heavens and the earths. He is there from the beginning and will remain forever. The Quran Says “ Say (O Prophet) Allah alone is the creator of everything and He is the One . Dominant Over All” The Phrase “ His Throne “ depicts Allah’s Power and shows that He has complete control and authority over everything. He does not require sleep nor rest. He is aware of the hidden the manifest , the past , the present and the future . None of His creatures including Prophets and Angels can be equal to Him in respect of his Knowledge Or his Attributes.
B) This passage reminds us to have our trust in
Allah and set our expectations from Him only . He knows what is good and what is bad for us. We must also fear and feel ashamed before committing any bad deed as we know that Allah is watching us. We must only bow down to Him and Ask His forgiveness. We should not bow down or surrender to any tyrant or wordily ruler. Muslims recite this verse before going to sleep or before going on a journey for their protection. Many Muslims also hang this verse In their houses for their protection. Holy Prophet (PBUH) regarded this as the best verse of the Holy Quran and said “ Whoever recites Ayat-ul-kusri immediately after every prescribed prayer , there will be nothing standing between Him and His entering Paradise except Death”
