OUR FACILITIES
The second floor of the left block houses the Faculty Room, the Computer Room
and the classrooms for the Junior High School. The third floor is where the supply and
printing office and the grade 8 classrooms are located. The ground floor is used by the
pre-elementary pupils and so with some grade school.
The Administrative Building was annexed in front of the right block. The first
floor is where the offices of the Principals are located together with the cashier’s office
and the Registrar’s Office. The floor on top of it was designed to accommodate special
events for the school, like conferences and social gathering of students and faculties. It
is an Audio-Visual Room and a Conference Room rolled into one.
The main frame of the right block situates the Technology and Livelihood Education
(T.L.E.) Laboratory, Science Laboratory, Science Lecture Room and one Grade 9 room.
Meanwhile the Guidance Office is placed in the third floor adjacent to two more Grade 9
classrooms.
It is essential to have a main focus within the school campus to create a sense of
place for the students and the staff where activities can take place, an internal courtyard
is made. It has been created as a centralized social space for continued learning outside
the classroom, conversation, special activities and community events.
Clarice Angels School makes sure that their faculty is comfortable and can work
well, so they provide them a space that is conducive for working and distressing. They see
to it that it make a more welcoming space for teachers and staff. The faculty lounge will
be used as place for teachers to come to distress. The faculty lounge is equipped with a
two air conditioners and one unit of computer with printer. The lounge also comes equipped
with a water dispenser and a free access to wifi.
THE CANTEEN
The school canteen is a great place to promote an enjoyment of healthy eating. For
students who use the canteen regularly, the food purchased makes a significant
contribution to their total food intake and nutrition; therefore it makes sense to ensure
the best food possible is available to enhance their ability to learn and take in the
information presented to them in class.
For students who don’t use the canteen regularly, the canteen still plays an
important educational and modeling role for healthy eating habits.
There are many aspects of a child’s life that may be restricted in an educational
setting. For example: the type of reading material accessed in the library, internet access
and visual material (DVD) and the clothes they wear. It is appropriate to restrict
unhealthy food in an educational setting. The canteen also plays an important role within
the broader school environment – that of reinforcing knowledge, skills and behaviors about
healthy eating and lifestyle which are taught in the classroom. Food provided at school has
a considerable influence on the development of children’s long-term eating habits, food
preferences and attitudes towards food. The school canteen plays a vital role in promoting
healthy foods and creating a school culture of healthy eating.
An intervention Room was built to provide a space for children who need special
care and attention. There are teachers who are assigned to implement the Intervention
Program.
Students who are having difficulty in some of their subjects they are sent to the
intervention room either before their regular classes start or after classes. And those
children with problems in behavior are sent to the intervention room to help them work out
on their behavior.
The Intervention Room is equipped with air condition, water supply and other
materials needed to help pacify children with behavioral problems.
