Lake Michigan Twilight Cruise Co. is a family owned business that was founded in 2007 by
Captain Karl Henry, who dreamt of offering enchanting dinner cruises on beautiful Lake
Michigan. The company began with one ship and three employees, but within a short amount of
time tourists began flocking in and the company invested in a second boat.

Today, the Lake Michigan Twilight Cruise Company operates two dinner cruise boats that depart
from Chicago and offer brunch, dinner, and late-night cocktails. The company’s most popular
service is their specialized fall foliage dinner tours. The company’s season starts in early June
and runs until the end of October.

The two new ships coming from Europe are the biggest investment ever made by a tour boat
company in Chicago and will dramatically increase the number of passengers who can enjoy the
lake. The Morning Star and the Comet will be the first Scottish-built catamarans to be planned
for service in the continental United States.

Boats from Lake Michigan Twilight Cruise Co. have been chartered for a variety of special
events, including the filming of TV episodes for “Chicago Fire”, “Mob Wives”, and
“Shameless”, as well as scenes for the movies “The Untouchables” and “Madea Takes a Cruise.”
