Historical Lake Michigan Twilight Cruise Company Launches Cruises


Chicago, IL ---- The historical Lake Michigan Twilight Cruise Company celebrates its last
seasons success on Lake Michigan dining boat service by launching two new ships.
Lake Michigan Twilight Cruise Company has served for over 12 years. It currently
operates two dining ships that run meals and cocktail parties while cruising Lake
Michigan. The company serves the cruise season from early June till the end of
October.
The company currently owns two ships, the Twilight and the Star Gazer. Last calendar
year marks 45,000 passengers. The company revenue was $1.69 million. Both are
standard diesel-powered Yacht class cruisers, each with capacity of 120 passengers
and a crew of six.
To celebrate the ongoing success of the existing cruises, Lake Michigan Twilight Cruise
Company launches two new cruises, the Morning Star and the Comet. The sections of
the ships will be built and shipped from Beth-O-Blarney Iron Works in Doublemill,

Scotland with specially equipped 747 jet. Sections will be re-assembled in Gary, Indiana
before launching for the forthcoming May.
New $3.2 million cruises will be diesel-powered catamarans, and doubling revenues
with new capacity of 185 passengers and crew of 5.

City College cuts 5% of all student workers hours


Chicago, IL ---- City Colleges administration has decided to make a 5% across-theboard-cut in all student workers hours.
Federal government announced a 5% cut in all colleges and universities work-study
funding at the end of last month.
City College has approximately 15,000 students. Around 20% of the students receive
federally supported part time work-study. The urban two-year institution would retain the
approximated 3,000 students in the program by reducing all student workers hours by
5%.
Students will be receiving notification letters by mail next week.
