Tilt Cylinders
SMCS - 5104-11; 5104-12

Remove Tilt Cylinders

1. Disconnect the oil lines (1) from the cylinder.

2. Disconnect the wire (2) for the kickout magnet from the cylinder, on right cylinder only.

3. Attach a hoist to the cylinder.

4. Remove the bolt and pin (3) from the rod end of cylinder. Remove the washers.

5. Remove the bolt and pin from the head end of cylinder and main frame.

6. Remove the tilt cylinder. Weight is 100 lb. (45 kg).

Install Tilt Cylinders

1. Install the tilt cylinder with a hoist.

2. Install the pin and bolt for the head end of cylinder.

3. Install the rod end of the cylinder into position between the levers.

4. Install the washers (1), pin and the bolt that fastens the pin to levers.

5. Connect the oil lines to the cylinder.

6. On right cylinder only, connect the wire for the kickout magnet.
