COURSE POLICIES

1. Attendance
a. Come to class on time. Students are given 15 minutes grade period before being marked late. Those who would come 30 minutes
after the class starts will be marked absent. Three absences = drop course; Three tardiness = 1 absent.
b. During group presentations, members are expected to be present. Absent members will not be given the same grade as the group
he/she belongs to. No special test will be given for quizzes. A letter of excuse is required if the student failed to take final exam.

2. Class Participation
a. Students are expected to come to class prepared, having read assigned reading text/s in order to participate in the discussion.
b. Bring teaching/instructional materials (e.g. manila paper, cartolina, art papers, pentel pens, crayons, etc.) as there will be varied
activities and group presentations.

3. Submission of Assignments and Other Requirements


a. Due date of assignments and other requirements will be announced by the professor.
b. All assignments and other requirements will be submitted via online, unless specifically instructed to do otherwise.
c. Work turned in late will be penalized by deducting points.
d. All assignments and other requirements must be typed in 12-point Times New Roman, double-spaced with one-inch margins in an
A4-size bond paper. Writing quality (including grammar and mechanics, organization, and contents) is figured into the overall
points for each writing assignment, so please proofread carefully. APA 6th ed. format is required for all written work.
e. In naming your files to be submitted, kindly follow the format:
Course – Section – Type of Reqt. - Surname
Example: 2PROFED06 – II-7BTLE – FILM ANALYSIS - Orendain

4. Consultation
a. Students who have course concerns could reach me at 0919-9336585 at 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Please be mindful of the time. Do
not call or text at night or very early in the morning.

5. Class Withdrawal
a. Read the Student Handbook on the process in applying for withdrawal in the class.
