    During Open field radiography, the most economic way to achieve radiation safety
    distance. Certain distance need to be cardoned off to ensure that the general public
    does not receive radiation dose beyond specific limits. The following method used to
    cardon off distance.

    D = Cardon off distance


    Ci = Strength in Curie
    RHM = Specific Gammam Ray Constant
    W = Workload in Hrs / week
    O = Occupancy
    P = Public Dose limits per week

    3. Calculation
    Source : Ir192
    Strength : 22 Ci
    RHM : 500mr/hr
    W : 5hrs per week
    O : 1/16 (Open Space - occassional)
    P : 2mr/week
