PHYSICAL THERAPY IN THE WELL POPULATION AND


THE PRINCIPLES OF ERGONOMICS

COURSE CODE: WPE 301


COURSE TITLE: Physical Therapy in the Well-Population and the principles of
ergonomics

COURSE CREDIT: 2 Units (1 unit Lecture, 1 unit Laboratory)


PRE- REQUISITE: Teaching and Learning Principles in the Health Care Setting,
Physical Therapy Assessment and Treatment 1 and 2

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course provides learning experiences on the principles, basic techniques, and concepts
of health promotion and disease prevention in well-population and in the workplace. It also
deals with the study of the foundations and dimensions of health which includes the physical,
mental and social that are geared toward the development of community wellness programs.
