ALUMNI DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (TCF-ADP):
Initiated in 2015, Alumni Development Programme is an on-field teaching
programme. It is intended to help TCF graduates to get admitted in he best
institutes of Pakistan and abroad.

Under this programme, the preparation is divided into 3 levels.

1. Foundation Level: The students who successfully cleared the tenth

grade took classes in summers at TCF secondary schools.
2. Level-I: Students in their Intermediate part 1 studies took classes of
level –I
3. Level-II: Students in their Intermediate part 2 exams took classes of
TCF-ADP Level-II.

The classes of level I and level II are conducted in universities and

institutes who has partnered with TCF-ADP.

The students who are doing graduation work voluntarily and conduct
classes of students and manage other things and help the students in getting
admission of best universities. Students of prestigious universities like IBA,
IOBM, CBM, LUMS etc worked voluntarily with this program.

MAJOR REPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
Students apply for social internship at ADP are appointed to different
institutes and assigned different duties. I was appointed as Class Executive
at IBA Main Campus Karachi. My duties included:

CLASS MANAGEMENT:
I was appointed as a Class Executive of Level-II and given the responsibility
to manage the class queries of my respective section and coordinate with the
instructors of my section. My duties included to take the attendance of the
students attending the class and make sure their presence in class before
their instructor. This is quite difficult in start because I have no experience
how to control such a large group people but with time and support of
fellow internees this task become much easier.

I have also assigned the task to assist instructors and help them in providing
hard copies of their documents. The side by side task include helping the
students in filling the admission forms of different universities which is
pretty much tiring but I enjoyed helping students a lot.

DATA ENTRY:
As a class executive it is included in my duties to maintain a record of data
of each and every student of level-II to their admission in different applied
universities. The data include Name, Father Name, Contact info, Email
addresses, passwords and their marks. This is done in a very careful manner
because afterwards to check the result status of students on which the
further working is done. Internees including CEs and ATLs have to upload
all this data on google sheets for Head Office of TCF to have record of this.
This sheet constantly updated according to the changes in data.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
During the whole period of my internship, I learnt a lot in different spheres.
This internship made me a responsible person and managing the situations
easily. Decision making skill got more polished during this time span. The
most important thing is I learnt how to work in teamwork and respecting
other people’s opinions. My communication skills get better. I learned how
to interact professionally with others.

Being a social internee I realize that this society need every individual to
stand out and play their role for betterment and put our every effort in it.
Helping others in this internship and trying to solve the queries of students
made me think that we can collectively be able to solve the issues of each
other and can work for the welfare for others.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Although the system is working well but there are some recommendations
that should be given which can make this system better.

 The coordination system between internees and team lead should be

stronger so that no misunderstandings arise due to communication
gap.
 The test conducted for students should be given more importance
and made according to the level of real entrance test.
 In spite of creating an environment of fear of failure, an encouraging
environment should be made where students face their failure.
 The program should be spread more widely in small and under
privileged area so that

ENDING REMARKS:
The TCF-ADP is solely of endless achievement for the internees. For the
young blood like me working in such environment is undoubtedly a great
experience. This has been a great learning opportunity for me and my
career. The internee has been edified on the utilization of theories in real life
circumstances. This internship was certainly a prologue to the real work
field for me.
