ONGOING ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
Our Transportation Department continues to be in communication
with the City of Carmel regarding current and future plans for road
improvement projects. If it is determined that a certain project will
affect your child’s bus route and/or pick-up and drop-off times, you
will be informed via email to check your Powerschool Parent
Portal to view these changes.
BUS ROUTE INFORMATION
Carmel Clay Schools, along with all school districts in our area
continue to experience a bus driver shortage. In order to alleviate the
numerous uncovered routes, several bus drivers will be running two
routes. As a result, your child may have an earlier morning pick-up
time or later drop-off time. Through this change, we expect more
consistent pick up/drop off times and fewer delays due to uncovered
routes. We will continue to communicate any changes to you via
email and the Powerschool Parent Portal.
WE ARE
HIRING!
BY ALICIA M. QUENTIN

If you are interested in joining our transportation team, we

will take you through an extensive paid training program to
earn your CDL (Commercial Driver's License), as well as,
our own training specific to driving a school bus. Our
trainers will be with you every step of the way!
