The Villain that burried in the Cemetery of Hero

How many were shocked after hearing the Supreme Court decision of allowing
the former president Marcos to be buried in Libingan ng mga Bayani?
And how many were happy, if not, satisfied or concurred to the Supreme Court
ruling?

Legally, Marcos deserved to be buried in Libingan ng mga Bayani. State the

resolution.

Following the reason of the higher court allowing the Dictator to be buried to the
said Cemetery. State the reason. The supreme court justices just followed what
law has to say. What do you expect from a man-made law? It has a flaw just like
its creator.

But its 9 against 5, 9 associate justices concurred while 5 associate justices

disagreed. It wasn't a unanimous decision. So we should also consider what the
opposition has to say. State the reason of the opposition.

Furthermore the issue heightened because the Filipino people where not yet in
the level of understanding the ruling of the court when the Marcos family
secretly buried the former president (insert date of burial). Nevertheless the
people never lose its power to speak for truth, to correct what's wrong, to protect
justice. Several groups protested to revoke the decision even before the start of
the marshall law star burried in the LNB. Followed and still following by protests
of the activist group and youth across the country after he was buried already.

What's fascinating here is the millennials? Most of the protesters are youth with
stand and conviction that Marcos should not be buried to LNB. That Marcos is
not a hero! What's common now and the Marshall law period is youth has stand
with what's right. Remember the rally of …....

And yes everything evolves. Communication evolves, from letter to video call.
So as the ranting and standing for the right and just. Facebook dominated by
opinions through posting everyones side. They have argued and debated. Some
are healthy mostly are not. For the side who said, we should move on and it's
not a big deal if Marcos buried in LNB and even arguing that why milleneals
stand with the opposition of not burying the Marcos remains in the LMB? Did
they experience Marshall law? Did they live on that era? Those argument is a
total exhibit of apathy. Isn't passivity to insult the victim of the dark era of the
Philippine history, the Marshall law, to tell them to move on without proper
compensation, without justice? Youth are the hope of the nation. How can it be
the hope that the nation need if they don't know their past and history.

For the side who said, Marcos is not a hero. He will never be, at least that will
last long to your consciousness and mind. It's not enough solace to comfort
yourselves through thinking that it's not the soil who will determine who is a
hero. But atleast you have comfort when there's no thing to turn to.

What's the root of us being polarized with the issue like this? The failure of the
promise of Democracy, I believe, is one of the primary reason why we are so
divided. The promises of social justice, development and equality have not been
attained since we ousted the Dictator. And since the Marcos era has indeed
make the Philippines progress, that lives on the mind of the people and not the
chaos he caused.
Because what's more comforting, remembering the good of the past or its devil
and the stagnant living condition now?
