Children with disabilities or with special needs are the most vulnerable in our society.

They look forward more on the love and care of: first their parents, second is family and
third the wider community. The children with disabilities are born facing a major conflict
of their lives to the point that their opportunity of carrying out their potential is drastically
lessen.

Education can help people with disabilities but according to theirworld.com, there's
what we called “Barriers” to learning for children with disabilities. First is the Accessibility
for example school's structure or poor infrastructure where in it is not accessible to those
children with physical disability to get to school because there's no such way for them to
get there easier yet convenient and comfortable for them. Second is Inadequate teacher
training and support, it said there , there's a lack of teacher training and resources to be
able to teach children with disabilities. Third is Cultural barriers where usually happens
the negative attitudes of people towards children with disabilities leading to bullying,
abuse and exclusions from school and because of these example of stigma and
discrimination, it causes the children with disabilities suffer from low self-esteem. And the
question is how would we lessen stigma towards children with special needs?, first
important thing we can do to reduce stigma and discrimination is, be aware of our
attitudes and behaviour because we can change the way we think about them and see
these people as unique human beings. Second is choose our words carefully because
once they heard one incisive word from us it affects their way of thinking. Third is focus
on the positive in a way that we recognizes and applaud the positive ones not the
negative. And last support and treat them with dignity and respect .

“Disability is not inability” for those people or children suffering with special needs or
disabilities, they’re also human being, we can rub out our old notion that these people are
way different from us, but in fact we're both have a hearts and just one mind to respect
and to love other people no matter of their looks and background. The most important
thing we can do for them to boost their self-esteem is to acknowledge their purpose as a
human in this world.
