people with exceptionalities, we can see that for example in school there
are not included with some of the activities in the thought that they might
not able to function and do the work properly

exceptionalities in academic or social settings?
-There are people with exceptionalities that aren’t really obvious physically
like you cannot identify them right through every first sight but mostly are
identifiable by their physical aspect, so some these people with
exceptionalities that can be seen through their physical aspect they can be
judge right away by some of the non-open-minded person and also in term
in academic, but mostly of them is having enhance brain and can excel
through academic.

4. How do you think schools or communities can improve awareness

and acceptance of individuals with exceptionalities?
-I think they need us to have acceptance and embrace them with much
understanding, and also education is the key for us to let them know what
are the things that they need more than our understanding.

disabled student and makakita nga galisod siya ug labang, makatabang ka
by assisting them, imo siyang agakon hangtod makalabang siya. By simply
doing that, it might not be a small thing to anyone but for them, dako na

surrounding people with exceptionalities? If yes, please explain:
-Yes, there re really misconceptions and stereotypes about them , like for
example, some people think or believe that they are dumb , but the truth is,
they are not, like for some people with autism, they have skills that other
individual like us can’t attain. So they should not put stereotypes and judge
them just because they need more assistance than most of us.

3. In your opinion, what are the challenges faced by individuals with

exceptionalities in academic or social settings?
-The challenges they experience at school are being the butt of the joke,
they are not taken seriously because they have special needs, they
experience bullying and that will lead them to be a loner at school and in
social settings, they also experience judgement from people especially
those in their neighborhood.
4. How do you think schools or communities can improve awareness
and acceptance of individuals with exceptionalities?
-As a part of the community, we can improve awareness about people with
exceptionalities by integrating disability awareness and inclusion in the
curriculum across grade level. Also, by teaching other students the different
types of exceptionalities. By educating a lot of people, we can create a
more inclusive and accepting environment for individuals with
exceptionalities.
