The Globalization of Religion

Globalization

 is the networking and expansion of once local products, beliefs

and practices into Universal products, beliefs and practices often
through technology.

Religion

 is a collection of cultural systems, beliefs system and world views

that establishes symbols that relate humanity to spirituality and to
moral values.

Tools uniting people all ove the world on religious basis:

 Books
 Movies
 Cellphone Apps
 Socail Networks
 Charity Funds

Religion epitomizes the definition of Globalization due to the fact that

it can be spread more efficiently than before through the use of
different technology tools.
How has Globalization Impacted Religion?

There are many ways in which globalization has affected issues related
to religion like for example , it increases the ease of travel to long
distances given the fact that people are able to travel to religious sites
much easier such as Jerusalem and Vatican. Beside with this, two
historical inventions have made it easier to read and learn about
different religious traditions, these are Printing Press and recent
development such as internet.

" Globalisation helps to increase greater religious tolerance and

acceptance of other culture and religion that enhances our mind,
knowledge etc. "

Through Globalization, religion becomes culuture pluralism that teach

us to respect of other religions. One thing that plays an important role
to spread the ideas of every religion and that is Media and Technology
so that people can know about different religions. For example-
websites that provides opportunities to contact with other worldwide
and give informations and explanations about different religions
regardless of geographical locations so that religious ideas can be
spread everywhere. Through media, we can learn about every religion
that enhances and broadens our mind and knowledge. Globalization
increases the capacity to strength and respect for religion.
