FILM APPLIED GALVANISING

Zinga is a film-galvanising system containing

atomised zinc particles that are bound together with
a unique and highly conductive binder. It bonds Zinga has all of the advantages of hot-dip
extremely well onto correctly prepared steel, brass, galvanising and zinc thermal spray,
aluminium and cast-iron to form a solid zinc layer but with none of their application
containing a minimum of 96% zinc in the dry film. and over-coating problems.

• Easy to use.
• One component. Surface Preparation Grit blast to SA2.5
• A cost-effective alternative to hot-dip galvanising. (Rz 50 - 70 μm)
• Highly resistant to mechanical abrasion. Approx. Drying Times @15ºC
• Certified as non-flammable (BS476 parts 6 & 7) for fire Touch Dry 10 mins
propagation and spread of flame.
Dry to Handle 30 mins
• Certified low smoke emissions BS6853 – B2.
• Certified low toxicity BS6853-D8.4. Overcoat with Zinga 30 - 60 mins
• Certified to Norsok M501-7 and M501-1 (rev6). 3 Overcoat with Epoxy 24 hrs
• Certified to ISO12944 – 6.
Application Temp Range -15ºC to +40ºC
Zinga can: Application Humidity Range <95%
• Be used to repair or build-up existing hot-dip Substrate Temp >3ºC above Dew Point
galvanising.
• More than double the service-life of a duplex coating Thinner Zingasolv
system. Cleaner Zingasolv/Gunwash
• Be applied onto damp surfaces and at very high Pot Life Unlimited
humidity (95%).
