    What is the historical focus of the documentary?

    How is narration used in the documentary? Describe the use of different camera angles? How do they help tell the story?

    What documentary style is used? Eg a narrative (unfolding story), a collection of


    interviews or via footage of events etc.

    Describe the use of dramatization (incl costumes and scene recreation) What artifacts, photographs or original films are used?

    List some of the major differences between the era portrayed and now. Note the use of music, sound or visual effects?
