WORK DONE:-

 Read Brochures about RLEK, its sister organisation PRAGATI and about their works and major
contributions.
 Studied The Scheduled Tribes and other Traditional Forest dwellers(Recognition of forest
rights) Act, 2006.
 Attended lectures on RLEK’s role in bringing Environment Protection Act, Bonded Labour
Abolition Act Working of NGOs and PIL.
 Assisted in office work including language Translation, making weekly school report and also
Assisted at kitchen said by the Founder Chairman of RLEK Avdhash Kaushal.
 Field visit to “Deras” of Van Gujjar community during their transhumance period at Mohund in
Saharanpur(UP) and Interacted with the Van Gujjars and learned about their way of life along
with tips for survival in wilderness.
 Prepared a project on “EVOLUTION OF FOREST POLICY IN INDIA”
 Attended a workshop on making tools with foreign interns on Powers, duties, Functions and
Administration of Gram Panchayat (73rd Amendment)
