To role play one or two conversations. Unit 01: My Life – Lesson A/B

Lesson A → 05; 07; 08; 09 In groups of 3.

Lesson B → 10; 14; 15

4) Material:

Collage or PowerPoint presentation (97 – 2003) illustrating the settings of the

conversation(s).

7) Example:

Hey, Pepa. Nice picture. Wait a minute! Is this Tongo in the picture? – (Holding the
picture) Exactly! Mr. Gutierrez (Tongo), I’d like you meet my friend, Pipa (07). –
Oh, come on! Stop messing around! – Ok, Ok. – How did you meet Tongo (14)? –
A coworker (05) had two tickets for his concert. He invited (14) me to go. – Oh,
lucky you! I love Tongo, too. – Really? So, do you usually listen to (08) his music?
– I hate to admit it, but I always listen to (08) him before I go to bed. – Lol. I do it

To role-play a situation in which three friends decide to do something or to go

somewhere. Unit 02: Lesson A/B.

2) Grammar and Vocabulary: 3) Grouping:

Lesson A → 19; 21; 22; 23 In groups: 3 – 4 members

Lesson B → 24; 28; 29

4) Material:

Collage (cardboard with pictures in relation to the conversation) or PowerPoint

Presentation (97-2003 preferably)

7) Example:

Hey, Pepo and Pipo. It’s lunchtime already and I’m very hungry. – Me, too. Let’s
(21) have lunch at the new Chinese Restaurant. – Chinese food? I’m sorry, but I
don’t really feel like it (21). – I don’t feel like it, either, Pepo. – I know. Why don’t
we have chicken instead. I know a great place. – Well, chicken is a lot more
delicious (22) than Chinese food, so that’s fine with me. – Okay, how about going
to Rustica? – Are you serious? Rustica has the worst (28) chicken in Lima. It’s all
dry and very salty (19). – Yeah, I agree. Let’s go to las Canastas, instead. They
