The culture of a nation has a

very high value and is unique. It is an

identity that can be introduced to the
world. Do you still know our culture
despite those influences that came from
the new generation? Well, we must not
forget our culture by simply applying it
to our daily lives. I myself do the act of
“bless” whenever I got to meet an
elderly. My family also celebrates
fiestas. Most of all, my family and I are
religious because that’s what Filipinos
are known for. Do you still practice
those simple acts? If you do, thumbs up!

My passion in arts strengthen cultural

values
I have been using my talent in
dancing to share our culture to everyone.
I have been to different countries
performing cultural dances which
showcased our colorful diversities. A lot
of people think that Philippines is just a
normal country but when they saw our
dance company’s performances, they
loved our country more. Come to think
of it, you can simply use your talents to
preserve our culture! Isn’t that amazing?
You’re doing the thing that you love and
as well as you’re giving value to our
culture.
We all want to be marked as
citizens with good traits and good
personalities. In order to achieve such,
we must preserve and take care of our
culture so that the traits that was used
to be described as a Filipino will remain
as it is even if the years go by. Being
raised with the traits of practicing and
applying the culture of our country
every single day helped me know who I
am and where do I come from. I can say
that the Philippines has a diverse
culture because of the influences of the
different countries. But, above all, we
have unity in diversity. I am a proud to
say that I am a Filipino. Are you, too?
