Dear FFE Scholar,

Greetings from FFE India Trust !

This is to inform you that your Scholarship is being sponsored by a generous donor. The donor
has committed to support your entire professional education for the next 4 or 5 years. I am sure
you appreciate the efforts and generosity of your donor who has contributed towards your
BE/MBBS education, without even personally knowing you.

As a gesture of gratitude, we require you to send a letter of thanks and appreciation to your
donor for his/her generosity. It is important that you send us this letter early so that it can be
shared with your donor. Almost always, donors feel happy when they hear (by letter/email
correspondence) from the student that they support as they feel that their efforts in funding
your scholarship has been truly worthwhile. Your “Thank You Letter” should be addressed to
your donor as – (To My Donor) , c/o Foundation For Excellence India Trust, Bangalore and
uploaded as a pdf document along with other documents in your scholarship application form.

Please note that you are expected to spend adequate time and effort to prepare this letter. It
should be fairly detailed, well worded, bringing out how the donor’s support has really been of
help to you. You can also share/ add the following details:

-your achievements
-academic success
-any challenges that you or your family faced
- what you aspire to become, and
-how and why you would like to contribute back to society once you start earning.

These are areas generally of interest to donors. If you are a final year student, please thank the
donor for all the years of support and also share ideas of your plans ahead, provide employment
details if you have got placed already.
