The average path angle is calculated from
4 nmi to 0.58 nmi. This measured angle
can be affected by the reference point
location. To minimize the error introduced
by the reference point location and height,
a Best-Fit-Straight-Line (BFSL) algorithm
is used to determine the actual glide path
angle.
