Youth Towards the National Well-
Being.”
“The health of the youth is the heart of the nation”

In this generation, the Filipino youth has faced countless

problems until this very day. Some are having problems in
their physical, mental, emotional and especially social health;
some are fighting their rights, some are fighting for their
diseases and addictions, and the unfortunate thrives to
survive. These problems are what holding us back in
innovating our country. How could we shape our nation if
these problems aren’t fought and ended? As being part of the
Filipino youth, it is our duty to bring the better future to our
country.

The theme "Metabolize: Nourishing the Filipino Youth towards

National Well-Being" reminds us that as a community, we
have to aid our youth so that they can stand on their own and
produce a better future to our country.

So what does the theme mean?

Metabolism is the process of maintaining the condition of
living things. In nourishing the Filipino youth towards national
well-being, it is important to “metabolize” this process. To
maintain the attention and awareness of the youth, we have
to make a move as we take part in building our nation’s
future.

Nourishing the Filipino youth is the same as helping each

other out. The attention of the youth is vital to how they
respond to their current situations as citizens of our country.

Our stand as the youth is important towards the national
well-being. As the future leaders of the country, the actions of
the Filipino youth is vital in constructing and transforming a
great future to our society.

It’s time that we should focus on building the foundation for

the future of our nation — the future of our country lies on us.
We stand as a nation and as a nation, we strive for
excellence.
