SCOPE AND LIMITATION

This action research is only limited to the purpose of improving ________. Hence the study will
only look into the _________. Students’ motivation will be only limited to the ___________. IT
will only be conducted within the timeline set for this study during the third quarter. Finally, the
data will only be collected during the regular class schedule.

RESEARCH DESIGN

I will primarily use action research design in this study. Specifically,

the single-case within subject design with repeated measures.
Hence, establishment of baseline data will be done at least 5 times
until a stable data pattern is observed. Likewise, post test data will
also be gathered several times after the implementation of the
strategy.

SAMPLING
Prepared for DepEd, Dapitan City Division
 Purposive sampling will be used in this study. In this regard, only the learner described as the
research subject will be involved. The learner was selected to qualify because of the
characteristics specified in the problem rationale. However, the intervention will applied to all
learners in the class but the focus of this action research will only be for the learner identified who
have a problem on ______.

ETHICAL CONSIDERATION

In this action research, I will make sure that the intervention will not cause any harm to anybody in
my classroom. Though informed consent will not be secure at the outset, the data and
information gathered will be treated with utmost confidentiality.

DATA ANALYSIS
Data gathered will be treated using appropriate descriptive statistics and shall be presented both
in textual, tabular and graphical form. Moreover, interview and observation data will be analyzed
using thematic content analysis.
