Since grade school teachers or elders always say that education is important to each one of us.
That it will lead us to a greater and higher standard of living. That it will give us the knowledge that we
can use in our future lives. But, what is the major goal or what should be the goal of Education? How can
that goal, be a help in the improvement of the quality of human existence?

For me, I agreed to Sir Martin Luther King jr. that the major goal of education should be teaching or
instructing each one the combination of intelligence and character. We must remember that intelligence
is not enough, living with only your intelligence while having a bad character cannot bring you success.
Being intelligent alone will not make you a better human, but combining it with a good and proper
character it'll surely make ah difference. These two, being combined gives one not only power of
concentration, but worthy objectives upon which to concentrate. According to Martin Luther King jr. It'll
transmit to one not only the accumulated knowledge of the race but also the accumulated experience
of social living.
