Why are teachers considered nation builders?

Teachers are individual who shape our character, personality and show us the way that will get us to
our utmost potential.

A teacher is the main individual responsible for shaping a country's future by imparting knowledge.
Teachers will teach a student to be nation's future engineers, doctors, prime ministers, police officers
etc

1. How does a teacher's competency in educating related to the field of nation's builder?

A person who holds the title of teacher needs to be skilled and competent in his role as a nation
builder.Competencies in SGM 2.0 related to the role of teachers as Nation Builders include the
competence of Understanding philosophy, policy, curriculum and co- curriculum and focusing on
the development of student potential.For example, teacher is the most effective agent of
change.This is because teachers are said to be among the most trusted individuals and have their
own influence in a society.

2. Why do teachers became the key figures in building the new generation in our nation?

Children carry what they are taught at a young age throughout the rest of their lives. They will use
what they have learned to influence society. Everyone knows that today’s youth will become
tomorrow’s leaders, and teachers have access to educate the youth in their most impressionable
years — whether that is in teaching preschool, teaching extracurriculars, sports or traditional
classes.

Teachers have the ability to shape leaders of the future in the best way for society to build positive
and inspired future generations and therefore design society, both on a local and global scale. In
reality, teachers have the most important job in the world. Those who have an impact on the
children of society have the power to change lives. Not just for those children themselves, but for
the lives of all.
