Introduction-

Thanks President TM Manoj for such a generous introduction.

“Oh, how we love the summer time. Hair gets lighter. Skin gets darker. Water gets warmer. Music gets
louder. Nights get longer. Summer is just perfect. Life is just a little bit better in the summer. Wouldnt you
agree?”

Good Afternoon fellow toastmasters and Beloved Guests. Welcome to an another typical TM session.
So are u ready for on adventure!!!!!. Can’t hear can you be louder.!!!! As we all will agree summer is
no less that an adventure in Kolkata. And all those Game of thrones lovers must be familiar with the
famous quote-------- “Winter is coming” and the fear of it but for people here in Kolkata what the quote
would be, any smart guess?? Yes it is “Summer is coming”______________________ But summer is
not so bad as well , so how many of people here love summer?? (raise ur hand) And may I know what
makes you love it ?

Now without much ado lets move forward to our hot and sizzling TM session

Every toastmaster meeting consists of 3 segments.

1.The first segment is called prepared speech where members come prepared with a speech based on
objective given in speech manual. This requires lot of Research and preparation. But for toastmaster
members it’s a like a ice cool refreshment in a hot summer noon.

.The second segment is called “Impromptu speech”. You’ll be given a impromptu topic and will be asked
to talk about it for 1- 2 minutes. It will like a surprise summer rain , so don need to fear it, but be brave
get drench in it and let you fears wash away.

3. The third segment is called “Evaluations”where the speakers are evaluated on their speaking

For evaluating the meeting from end to end we have a person called general evaluator. And the general

When Is was a kid I desperately waited for summer to come, do you the reason why?? Any
guesses….. The reason was summer Vacation, A long 1 month gap from skool…so that can play
the who day , visit my maternal uncles house…..

So now would like to call upon our TTM for the day….as for today she/he is in her/his summer
vacations and is coming here to take an surprise exam of you people…. So Lets
welcome….___________
