My family

I strongly believe that family is very important not only as the relationships, but as the part
of the society, because when the married couple is talking about “making kids”, they’re both
thinking not only having fun with them, but to make strong and large cells of the society out
of them, that can change whole the world.

But, as we saying, “the tree will not live on a pour soil”. Same is with the family: parents
and relatives should not only to teach, but to support each other at bad times, too, because this
is the meaning of the family.

My family is quite traditional, but I can say it’s nuclear. I have a lot of relatives, including
my mother, father and younger brother. Also, I have grandparents on father’s line, that are a
very good friends to me. By the way, I have good relationships with everybody in my family,
because the other relatives have seen me since I was a baby. All my family lives in Minsk, so
it’s not difficult just to visit each other sometimes. Grandparents are living at Serebranka, my
aunt and uncle – at the center and etc.

My mother’s name is Svetlana, she’s almost 50 years old. But anyway, she’s still very
active and clever woman that can help me with homework, relationships and other things in
life. By the way, she was working as an English teacher . When my family moved to the other
flat and other school, she “switched” me from Spanish to Englih for a few days, because there
was Spanish instead of English as the foreign language.

My father’s name is Leonid, he’s 50 years old, too, because my parents were born at the
same year, 1970. He’s very good at German, mechanics and the guitar. Also, he teached me
how the car works when I worked with him at the repair service this summer.

My younger brother’s name is Daniil. Unfortunately, he has an autism. He’s studying at

simple school, but with the same children having the same issues like him: the down
syndrome, paralysed and even orphans, He got a lot of friends here, and I’m happy that even
autism can’t ruin his life. He can do something by himself, or just to ask mother for help.

Unfortunately, my grandparents on Mother’s line are both dead. Grandmother Roza was a
great maths teacher at school where my mom was studying, and my grandfather Nikolay have
achieved a red USSR diploma at the university. We are keeping it till this day.

In the end, I want to say a big thanks to all my relatives and parents for their teaching,
training, protection, support and, mainly, love. As I said in the beginning, you can make a big
person from a tiny child not only with education, but with support and love, too.

That’s all.
