Singareni Thermal Power Project inspection of spring units for ID Fan on

Mr.Gopal Reddy.M representative from M/s GERB Vibration Control Systems Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore visited
M/s Singareni Thermal Power Project Site from 17.11.2017 to 18.11.2017 for inspection of spring units
for ID Fan Unit # 1B.

Under his presence the following observation and works have been carried out and completed.

 Inspection of observations of spring for ID Fan (1B & 2B) and measured the spring heights, found
in normal healthy condition.
 Measured of spring heights and recorded in protocol.

 Maintenance Tips are as under:

1) GERB spring units do not require any special maintenance.

2) Spring units to be cleaned by air (Not by water) periodically.
3) Routine inspection of the surface should be done periodically for painting / damages
and corrosion and should be repaired accordingly.
4) In case of any major loads (machine parts) to be removed from foundation, for
maintenance purpose, the prestressing bolts shall be Hand Tightened and later should
be released after keeping the loads on the foundation.
