Important Information for GATE Qualified M.Tech. (Full Time) Candidates

through Direct Admission for Academic Session 2019-2020, Ist Semester

1. Civil Engineering Department has already participated and offered the M.Tech. (Full
Time) seats through COAP Rounds 1 to 5.
2. M.Tech. (Full Time) seats remained vacated after last decisive round, Round 5 of COAP,
has been offered through additional Round A (3 - 4 July 2019) of COAP. Seats remained
vacated after completion of Round A will be offered through Round B (10 -11 July
2019) of COAP.
3. The Round A and B of COAP are independent rounds and each one is treated like a
decisive Round. That is, the candidates will have only “Accept and Freeze” and “Reject”
options in these rounds.
4. The last date of online fees submission and sending receipts for Round A is 6th July
2019 and for Round B is 13th July 2019. The offers for Round A have been uploaded on
COAP portal and offer letters have been sent by email to candidates.
5. Candidates are advised to read the offer letter, sent to them through email, carefully
and follow all the instructions related to fees payment, hostel accommodation and
registration.
6. Candidates are required to send the fees receipt of online fees payment to
headciviliitd@gmail.com before the last date as mentioned in their offer letter.
7. Civil Engineering Department will NOT conduct any SPOT Round for seats remained
vacated after Round B of COAP.
8. Candidates who opted for “Accept & Freeze” in any round of COAP will not be offered
any seats in Round A & Round B.
9. Candidates who opted for “Reject & Wait” up to Round 4, “Reject & Quit” in Round 5
and will opt for “Reject” in Round A of COAP will be offered only their higher
preferences in Round B.
10. All the offers in the Round A and Round B of COAP will be made through the same
merit list prepared for Round 1 to 5 based on GATE Score and qualifying degree marks.
