Though the contents in the notice is reproduced from the Rules of Admission and Approved
Information Brochure. CET CELL is reproducing the same for the benefit of the candidates.

(1) Conduct of CAP round II: -


a. Candidates will be required to edit their CAP application form during the period
mentioned in the table appended to the Notice above, if the Candidates have made any
mistake in entering the i) Candidature Type, ii) Date of Birth, iii) Name change,
Mistake in name, mismatch in name in document and application form iv) Caste
certificate, Caste/Tribe Validity Certificate, Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, EWS
certificate details, or have been directed by the admitting college in Round- I to
edit the form and have refused admission in Round I due to document/information
discrepancy.
Most of the candidates have made mistakes in :- v) HSC Aggregate Marks &
Percentage, HSC First Language Marks, vi) SSC Aggregate Marks and SSC
English Marks, UG and PG marks, Method subject selection etc. and have Made
mistake in uploading required documents and vii) Matching the filled in the details
in the application form with documents uploaded. Or Need to update and upload
any required documents.
b. It is mandatory for all the candidates to fill the New Fresh College Options
in Option Form for Round-II during the period mentioned in the table appended
to the Notice above even if the candidates do not want to edit the application
form or upload the document.
c. Candidates will be responsible for finally submitting the application form and the
option for round II. Unsubmitted applications will not be considered for Round II.
d. Candidates editing Personal details like Marks, Category, and changing Necessary
documents should note that their Merit No of Round I may change based on the newly
filled in credentials due to editing of application form or change of documents or both.
Such candidates who have made changes in the CAP Application form or have
uploaded new documents will be placed blow the candidates having same CET Score.
Candidates will be accepting the undertaking to this effect while editing the
Application form by pressing the undertaking button.
e. The seats available for Round II shall be published on the respective CAP website.
f. After editing the CAP Application form & Filling of College Option form is over, the
Alphabetical Merit list for Round II will be declared and based on the grievances
received after the declaration of alphabetical list for Round II, the Final merit list for
Round II will be declared.
g. After allotment for round II, which is the last On Line CAP Round, the candidates
will have only one option on their dash board i) Freeze Option.
h. It is mandatory for all the candidates to fill the New Fresh College Options for Round-
II during the period mentioned in the table appended to the Notice above. Candidate
who do not fill New College Options for round-II, they will not be considered for
generation of Merit list and Allocation of Round-II.

(2) Candidate who are eligible for round II: -

a) Candidates who have been allotted seat OTHER THAN FIRST PREFERENCE
and have rejected the Admission OR Refused the Admission in Round - I OR Not
reported to the college OR Not Opted Freeze or Betterment option through
candidate’s login.
b) Candidates who have been allotted seat other than First Preference and have been
Rejected by the Admitting College due to discrepancy in application form,
document or mismatch in document and application form.

c) Candidates who have been allotted seat OTHER THAN FIRST PREFERENCE and
candidate has paid the one-time Seat Acceptance fees of Rs. 1000/- & Opted Freeze
or Betterment option through candidate’s login, but have not reported to college for
confirming the admission.

d) Candidates who have been allotted seat OTHER THAN FIRST PREFERENCE and
candidate has paid the Seat Acceptance fees of Rs.1000/- & Freezed the admission
through candidate’s login and Paid the college fees & college has confirmed the
admission through college login. Such Candidates if they want to participate in
Round II allocation will have to first cancel their Admission of Round-I through
college login by reporting to the college for cancellation and then give options. Such
candidates should note that second Round allocation is not guaranteed and they will not
be admitted in the institute from which they have cancelled the admission of round
I.
e) Candidates who have been allotted seat of FIRST PREFERENCE and candidate has
paid the one-time Seat Acceptance fees of Rs. 1000/- & Opted Freeze option through
candidate’s login, but college has rejected the admission of the Candidate & NOT
Confirm the Admission due to discrepancy in Marks of SSC/HSC/Degree, etc &
discrepancy in uploading the required document. Such candidates are Eligible to
participate for Round-II.

(3) Candidates who are NOT Eligible for Round II:-

a) Candidates who have been allocated college of First Preference and have verified their
documents and have been admitted in the college through college log in and paid
the college fees will not be considered for allocation in round II.

(4) The CET qualified Candidates who has failed to register themselves before CAP Round-
I for the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) shall be eligible to register for
Centralized Admission Process (CAP) before the Round II during the period mentioned
in the table appended to the Notice above. But the Merit List of such newly registered
Candidates will be published separately and they will be placed below the Candidates
whose names have been published in the first Merit List.
(5) Application of Logic of Dynamic Allocation For Round – II :-

a) Candidates who have been allotted seat OTHER THAN FIRST PREFERENCE in
Round-l and have Opted Betterment Option and Paid the seat Acceptance fees of Rs. 1000/-
, whilst filling fresh option form, he need not fill the preference which is already allotted to
the Candidate in the previous Round-I. Once upward preference is allotted to such
Candidate, his earlier seat allotment shall stand automatically cancelled due to application
of LOGIC OF DYNAMIC ALLOCATION. If the Candidate is not allotted seat in Round
II, the seat allotted in Round I, as the case may be, shall be retained automatically but the
Candidate will have to report to Admitting college and Concerned College or Institute for
Confirmation of Admission again for Round - II. Colleges should confirm the Admission
of the candidates of Round-II, though they have been allotted same college in Round-I. If
the candidate does not report to the college in the specified period, his seat will stand
forfeited automatically.

b) Candidates who have been allotted seat OTHER THAN FIRST PREFERENCE in
Round-I and have Freezed the Seat by opting “Freeze Option” and Paid Seat
Acceptance fees of Rs. 1000/-, but have not confirmed the admission of Round I by
verifying the documents and paying the college Admission Fee, Such Candidates
whilst filling fresh option form for Round II, need to fill the preferences of fresh colleges.
Candidate can fill allotted college in the previous Round-I as choice. His previous
Round -I allotted college cannot be retained since he/she has not reported to the college.
The candidate shall not claim the allotted college in the previous Round - I as a right if
any college is not allotted to him /her in ROUND – II.

c) At the time of reporting to the allotted college or Institution for confirming the allotted
seat, the Candidate shall produce all the original documents in support of the claims made
in the application. In that event, if the Candidate fails to produce the documents in support
of the claims, so made in the application, the allotment shall stand cancelled by the
Admitting College and the seat shall become available for allotment in further
Institutional Level Round - III;
(6) Caste Validity Certificate/ Tribe Validity Certificate/Non-Creamy
Layer certificate & Economically Weaker Section Certificate: -

a) Maharashtra State Candidates who have uploaded Caste certificate but have failed to upload
NCL and or CVC, EWS certificate in lieu of the receipt of Non-Creamy Layer certificate
and or receipt Caste /Tribe validity certificate, will have to upload the original Caste validity
certificate, Non- Creamy Layer Certificate or EWS certificate to claim the seat in category
in Round II.
b) The candidates who have NOT got the Non Creamy Layer Certificate/EWS Certificate or
Caste/Tribe Validity Certificate and if they are admitted in Round I and Round II on the
basis of the Application Receipt of TVC/CVC/NCL/EWS such candidates will be treated
as per the table given below:-

(7) The candidates who had uploaded receipt of the application of CVC/TVC/NCL/EWS in CAP
application form and have not received the documents should edit their application form to be
eligible for allocation through Open category in Round III: Institutional level Round as per
the updated schedule displayed on the CAP Portal.
