Goldilocks and the Three Bears

Once upon a time there were three bears who lived in a house in the forest. Therewas a
great big father bear, a middle-sized mother bear and a tiny baby bear.

One morning, their breakfast porridge was too hot to eat, so they decided to go for a walk
in the forest. While they were out, a little girl called Goldilocks came through the trees and found
their house. She knocked on the door, but because there was no answer, she pushed it open and
went inside.

In front of her was a table with three chairs ; one large chair, one middle-sized chair, and
one small chair. On the table were three bowls of porridge ; one large bowl, one middle-sized
bowl, and one small bowl – and three spoons too.

Goldilocks was hungry and the porridge looked good, so she sat in the great big chair,
picked up the large spoon, and tried some of the porridge from the big bowl. But the chair was
very big and very hard, the spoon was heavy, and the porridge too hot.

Goldilocks jumped off quickly and went over to the middle-sized chair. But this chair was
far too soft, and when she tried the porridge from the middle-sized bowl, it was too cold. So she
went over again to the little chair, picked up the smallest spoon, and tried some of the porridge
from the tiny bowl.

This time it was neither too hot nor too cold. It was just right and so delicious that she ate it
all up. But Goldilocks was too heavy to sit on the little chair and it broke in pieces because of her
weight.

Next, Goldilocks went upstairs, where she found three beds. There was a great big bed, a
middle-sized bed and a tiny little bed.

By now she was feeling rather tired. Therefore, she climbed into the big bed and lay down
on there. It’s very hard and far too big. Then she tried the middle-sized bed, but that was far too
soft. So she climbed into the tiny little bed. This time it was neither too hard nor too soft. In fact,
it felt just right, cosy and warm, and in no time at all Goldilocks fell fast asleep.

In a little while, the three bears came back from their walk in the forest. They saw at once
that pushed open the door of their house and Father Bear looked around. Suddenly he roared
with a growly voice.

“SOMEBODY HAS BEEN SITTING IN MY CHAIR.”

Mother Bear said in a quiet gentle voice.

“Somebody has been sitting in my chair.”

Little Bear said in small squeaky baby voice.

 “Somebody has been sitting in my chair and has broken it!”

Then Father Bear looked at his bowl of porridge and saw the spoon in it and he said in his
great big growly voice,

“SOMEBODY HAS BEEN EATING MY PORRIDGE”

Then Mother Bear saw that her bowl had a spoon in it, and said in her quiet voice.

“Somebody has been eating my porridge”

Little Bear looked at his porridge bowl and said in his small squeaky baby voice,

“Somebody has been eating my porridge, and has eaten it all up”

Then the three bears went upstairs. Father Bear saw at once that his bed was untidy and he
said in his great big growly voice,

“SOMEBODY HAS BEEN SLEEPING IN MY BED!”

Mother Bear saw that her bed had the bedclothes turned back, and she said in her quiet
gentle voice.

“Somebody has been sleeping in my bed!”

Then Little Bear looked at his bed and said in his small squeaky baby voice,

“Somebody is sleeping in my bed!”

The Little Bear squeaked so loudly that Goldilocks woke up with a start. She jumped out of
bed, she ran down the stairs and out into the forest. And the three bears never saw her again.

Dahulu kala terdapat tiga beruang yang tinggal di sebuah rumah di dalam hutan. Ada papa
beruang yang sangat besar, mama beruang yang berukuran sedang, dan bayi beruang yang
mungil.

Suatu pagi, bubur sarapan mereka terlalu panas untuk dimakan, jadi mereka memutuskan
pergi berjalan-jalan ke hutan. Saat mereka keluar, seorang gadis kecil bernama Goldilocks datang
melewati pepohonan dan menemukan rumah mereka. Dia mengetuk pintu, tapi karena tidak ada
jawaban, dia membukanya dan masuk ke dalam.

Di hadapannya terdapat meja dengan tiga kursi, Goldilocks sedang lapar dan bubur itu
kelihatannya enak, jadi dia duduk di kursi yang sangat besar, tetapi kursi itu sangat besar dan
sangat keras, sendoknya berat, dan buburnya terlalu panas.

Goldilocks melompat dengan cepat dan berpindah ke kursi berukuran sedang. Tapi kursi
yang ini terlalu empuk, dan ketika dia mencicipi bubur dari mangkuk yang berukuran sedang,
rasanya sudah terlalu dingin. Jadi dia berpindah lagi ke kursi yang kecil, memilih sendok
tercekil, dan mencicipi bubur dari mangkuk yang kecil.

Kali ini tidak terlalu panas maupun terlalu dingin. Rasanya sudah pas dan sangat lezat
sehingga dia memakan semuanya. Tapi Goldilocks terlalu berat untuk duduk di kursi kecil dan
kursi itu hancur berkeping-keping karena berat badannya.

Selanjutnya, Goldilocks pergi ke lantai atas, dimana dia menemukan tiga tempat tidur.
Sekarang dia merasa agak lelah. Oleh karena itu, dia naik ke tempat tidur yang mungil karena
tempatnya nyaman daripada kamar yang besar dan yang berukuran sedang.

Tidak lama kemudian, tiga beruang kembali dari perjalanan mereka di hutan. Mereka
dikejutkan oleh pintu rumah yang terbuka. Papa beruang melihat ke sekeliling dan tiba-tiba
berteriak dengan suara yang keras karena melihat bubur mereka telah dimakan seseorang dan
tempat duduk mereka telah diduduki. Saat mereka menuju ke atas mereka melihat bahwa tempat
tidur mereka berantakan.

Si Beruang Kecil melihat seseorang tidur ditempat tidurnya membuat si Beruang Kecil
mencicit begitu keras sehingga Goldilocks bangun dengan kaget. Dia melompat dari tempat
tidur, dia berlari menuruni tangga dan keluar ke hutan. Dan tiga beruang tidak pernah melihatnya
lagi.

the porridge was too hot.

Goldilocks jumped quickly and moved into the medium lounge chair. But this chair is too soft,
and the compilation replaces the porridge from the hood being prepared, it feels too cold. So he
moved again to a small chair, chose a strangled one, and chose porridge from a small place.

This time it's not too hot too it's too cold. It tastes right and is so delicious that he eats
everything. But Goldilocks was too heavy to sit in a small chair and the chair was smashed to
pieces because of his weight.

Next, Goldilocks went upstairs, where he found three beds. Now he feels a little tired. Therefore,
he climbed into a small bed because it was comfortable in large and medium rooms.

Not long after, three bears returned from their journey in the forest. They were startled by the
open door of the house. The papa bear looked around and suddenly shouted in a loud voice
because he saw that their porridge had been eaten by someone and their seat had been occupied.
As they headed up they saw their wrong bed.

The Little Bear saw someone sleeping in his bed making the Little Bear squeak so loudly that
Goldilocks woke up in surprise. He jumped out of bed, he ran down the stairs and out into the
forest. And three bears never saw him again.
