Edge Profiles
Choose from three different edge options:
• Squared-edge offers the most overall application flexibility since they can abut to other surfaces.
• T hin-edge on the user side slopes back 1 ⅞” under the front edge to give the surface a very light aesthetic. Screens and accessory tools will not attach to the thin-
edge portion of the surface.
• E ased-edge on the user side slopes down to support forearms and soften sharp edges. The 3” slope may prohibit or limit some storage pieces from resting on the
surface, and screens and accessory tools will not attach to the eased-edge portion of the surface.

GENERAL RULES
Everywhere™ Tables offer a variety of ways to bring power to a single table and/or a series of table configurations. These include the use of surface clamp or grommet
mounted Logic or Connect electrical distributors. In multiple configurations use the Connect Single Circuit or Connect Modular Power Systems. Below are general rules and
specification examples.
Special Considerations:
Electrical distributors must connect directly into a building power source and are not to plug directly into each other. Use the Connect Single Circuit or Connect Modular Power
Systems when connection from unit to unit is needed.
Tables must be ganged together with the Connect Ganging Kit (Y1338.) to meet UL requirements.
Check local codes for approval and the building power for the number of receptacles per power infeed.

Special Considerations:
Ensure jumpers are long enough to clear under structures of tables, especially when turning corners.
When multiple tables/desks are used in linear run either the 2- or 4-circuit Dual Receptacle/Junction Block Power Kits could be used for simplicity in planning. The
electrical must be tailored to meet specific requirements beyond the standard kits, individual products can be specified a la carte.
Access to electrical above the surface can be supported by leveraging the Connect power distributors.
Specify the 2- or 4-circuit modular power kits to match the width of the table or desk.
To connect power kits between adjacent desks or tables, order power jumper separately.
Order the 4-circuit duplex receptacle (Y1355.) separately.
To route power from building to power kit, order 2- circuit power entry separately.
• For San Francisco, specify flex metallic conduit option.
When routing power to an adjacent desk or table, surfaces must be ganged together. Order ganging bracket kit (Y1338.) separately.
Method of attachment:
• To attach kit flush to bottom of surface, with receptacles facing down, specify flat attachment to underside of surface option.
• To attach kit perpendicular to bottom of surface, specify short 90° attachment to underside of surface option.
• To attach kit perpendicular to bottom of an Abak® or Sense™ surface, specify long 90° attachment to underside of surface option.
Receptacles/Junction Blocks are located 12” in from the right/left edges to the end of the receptacle/block and 2 ¼” in from the back edge of a desk or table.

PRODUCT INFORMATION AND PLANNING – MODULAR POWER
Single-sided kits with H-block and receptacle-to-receptacle connectors beneath 24” by 72” tables with 24” by 48” returns.
When 2-ciruit modular power is required 90° to the main run of tables or desk, one of the following methods can be applied:
• -block and a receptacle-to-receptacle block connector will be required to connect jumpers to the modular power kit along spine run at each point. Since power is
H
passing on an outside radius to the return, a 42” jumper is required along with a receptacle-to-receptacle block connector.
• combination of a jumper, H-block and a jumper will be required at each connection point to the modular power kits along the spine. To determine the jumper length

required to bridge from the power kit along the spine run to the return power kits divide the jumper length by two, you may have to round up to the nearest common
