We, Jhan Ashley C. Agustin, Fatima D. Lazo, and Jhezreel A. Mosuela, Grade 12 students who
are presently conducting an experimental study entitled “Antibacterial Activities of Northern
Maidenhair Fern (Adiantum pedatum Linn) Against Spotting Bacteria in Tomatoes,” in partial
fulfillment of the requirements in the subject Practical Research II.

In this regard, knowing that your institution is an accredited agency to conduct the procedure, may
we request your full support and assistance in the conduct of Phytochemical Screening of the plant
leaf to be used in the study, which is necessary in the completion of data needed in this research.
Likewise, we also request the Ethanol Extraction of the plant leaf, which is essential to be used
as treatments in the data gathering of the study. We, the researchers of the study, will pay any
expenses that may incur in the conduct of the procedures.
