GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

i. Supplier will provide operational manual, parts catalogue & manufacturing

certificates along with supply of intended machine.

ii. Firm will provide one set (free of cost) of all consumables parts (i.e. filters POL
oils/grease, spare parts, bells and other consumable parts etc.) along with supply
of intended machine.

iii. Firm will provide list of all parts (consumables and non-consumables etc.) and
their change / replacement frequency recommended by the manufacturer.

iv. Firm will provide procedures for maintenance, inspection and replacement of
parts of the machine.

v. Each mechanical part/item of the machine shall be painted with anti-rusted paint
as approved by the department.

vi. Frim will bear all installation, commissioning and operational charges (i.e. fuel,
electricity and lubricant for first operation of machinery) at Chashma site.

vii. All the arrangements related to installation, commissioning and put the machine
into operation in C-J link canal Chashma will be borne by the supplier.

viii. Firm will provide detailed manufacturing, electrical and mechanical drawings with
detailed literature/ manuals.

ix. Firm will provide assembling, commissioning and operational test reports of the
machine.

x. Firm will provide operational and maintenance training to our worker at Chashma
site till satisfaction of intender/worker/end user.

xi. 10% of payment will be deducted as security. The same will be released after year
to be reckoned from operational date of the machine

xii. Warranty of the machine should be for ONE year to be reckoned from commercial
operational date of the machine after successful training.

xiii. Firm will provide free of cost maintenance along with spares replacement as and
when required during warranty period. Any defective part (if occurred during
 warranty period) will have to be replaced by the firm free of all the charges from
site to manufacturer's premises and back.

xiv. Firm will provide after sales services.

xv. Firm will bear all expenses of our two (2 Nos.) officials inspection team for visit of
manufacturer site/country for inspection of the spare part / operational /
maintenance training for pre-qualification prior to assembling / mobilization of the
machine. Traveling and boarding /lodging arrangement to manufacturer site and
back will be provided by the supplier free of cost.

xvi. That existing roads shall be kept neat & clean durian transportation and handling
of the machine. No machines /part (of any type) will be dumped/stored on the
road surface. Damage to road surface of occurred due to your mishandling shall
be made good by you or it will be got repaired at your risk & cost.

xvii. Security rules and regulations shall be strictly observed by you through
installation / commissioning and operational phase of the machine.

xviii. The supplier will make his own arrangements for provision of Personnel's Safety
Protective Equipments e.g. Helmet, Safety Shoes, Goggles, Safety Belts, Gloves
and life jackets etc. for his workers as per site requirement in accordance with
Labour Law and CHASHNUPP-1 Safety Plan.

xix. Security clearance of the Labourers will be the responsibility of the supplier.
However, the department will help in this regard.

xx. The supplier shall be responsible for the true and proper setting out of the
machine and for the correctness of the position, levels, dimensions and alignment
of all the parts of machine. Any defect of occurs shall be removed by the supplier
at his own cost.

xxi. On completion of the project, the supplier shall clear away and remove from the
site all surplus materials and rubbish/ garbage of every kind and leave the whole
of the area clean and in a workman like condition.

xxiii. All the existing/ amended Govt. taxes, duties and levies etc. will be applicable to
the payment made to the firm.

xxiv. Payment will be given to the supplier only in Pak rupees.

xxv. The supplier may claim 80% payment after arrival of machine at Chashma site and
remaining payment will be made after the successful operation of the machine/
acceptance /RV of the machine of the receipt of bill in triplicate (along with FBR
copy of tax return) or any other documents necessary for completion of
formalities.

xxvi. The purchaser reserves the right to reject any or all items of the machine. Not
found in accordance with given specification, standard, quality, material and size
and in case of any dispute, the decision of the purchaser shall be final and binding
upon you.
