The postive effects of high educational attainment to employment
Higher education has a domino effect on the income of employee. On the report of Strauss
(2011) The higher the education, the higher the income of employment and the better
educated group the lower the unemployment rate – and the striking result is consistent over
a 10 year period and is highly significant. Greater demand for more educated workers. This
indicates rising wages for workers in demand (High educational level) and weak to flat
wages for worker not in demand which is low educational attainment. Accordingly if less
than a high school education or low education you’ve spent the last years in recession.
Having a high education is the single most important thing can do to increase employment options
and earning potential. Studies have shown a large gap in wage - earning and income between people
who do graduate from college. It is still true that people with advanced degrees, on the whole, tend
to earn more and find more career success than people without degrees (Friedman, 2019). Success
are ahead of us when we attained high education and it is the single thing to increase earnings.

High education level have a great access to job opportunities for young men and women.
Sparreboom (n.d.) stressed that the lack of quality higher education had left millions of young
people out of decent jobs who subsequently relied on the informal labour market. Indeed, high
education level have a great access to decent jobs.

Educational attainment have a relationship with the satisfaction of employment. When we

have attained higher education we are more satisfied to the job that we have. According to
Gurbuz (2019) a positive relationship was found between job satisfaction and education
level. It is clear that educational attainment have a relationship with employment.
Today is a generation where education is important. In particular, if everyone wants a
decent and high paying job, in order to everyone to achieve that, they need to elicit high
educational attainment. Higher education is the avenue to formal employment and higher
annual earnings (Wambugo, 2019) Therefore, higher educational attainment leads to a
formal job and high salary.
Educational attainment improves employment. It is the basis of quality of work. As claimed
by Koirala (2016) those with higher education were less likely to be in the labour force for a
monetary reason than adults having lower education. More educated workers may have a
better quality of work than the less educated. Indeed that, Educational attainment brings us
to the good quality of employment and when attained higher education it is possible that
you may have better employment.
One of the biggest problems in the society is employment. Many people are not capable to
work because of their educational attainment. Sometimes, they are not acceptable in the
position they wanted because there are set of standards they need to meet. People with
higher education have better jobs (Organization for Economic Cooperation and
Development, 2012). People high education are sure that they will have better jobs and
capable to work properly.
The education you have attained serves as the key when applying for a job. Shabbir and Jalal
explained that higher education is for world of work. Higher education affects the applied as
a predictor of employment. It is prove that educational attainment is the predictor of
employment.

The negative effects of low educational attainment to employment

Applying for a noble companies or anything that are related to employment is utterly a
tough decision, especially if we haven’t enough education. There are standards you may
face: one is educational attainment, they are hiring educated workers rather than who
aren’t because it might affect the job performance. The higher education level the more are
the effects of education and skill or job performance, As such people’s ability to understand
and the use of the advanced technology is determined by the level of their education
(Kasika, 2015).
It is not easy to get a job when attained lower education many opportunities will be
departed. As stated by Gonzales (2016) employees with a lower educational level are more
affected by the lack of job opportunities and more likely to express higher level of gratitude
for the job they have been able to secure and maintain. Consequently, it is highly possible
that we may be jobless and just withstand to toilsome jobs for low education level.
You might stand hardships if you’re educational achievement are not enough. In particular
applying for formal employment, It is observed that men and women access to informal and
agricultural employment requires relatively low levels of education (Wambugo, 2011)
Therefore, It is confirm that there are hardship to employment when attained low
education.
Completing secondary education is not enough to ensure that youth in low income
countries achieve better labor market outcome. Isakova and Nazathekova (2011) stated
that, the first and most important reason, for people being unemployed is is lack of
education.
In this age, finding a job is harder if you didn’t finish the required level of education.
Employers are increasingly requiring a college degree and estimate that by 2018, 60% of
jobs will require a bachelor degree (Seattle, 2019). Therefore the higher level of education
the greater chance and easily to find higher paying jobs that suits you.
Some jobs may requires a college degree graduate, but other employment only requires a
high school graduate. Wyoming, this state that had almost 42% of its job in occupation for
people with a high school diploma or equivalent, it includes riggers, operators, press
machine, assemblers (Torpey & Watson, 2014). It clarifies here that not all the jobs requires
a college or masters degree holder.
