Dramatizing a short-story has been fruitful
in my quest of developing my knowledge of
my mother - tongue – Bengali. Through
this , there are lots of things that I could
learn . a story , written by a writer , gets
sketched in the minds of the readers
through their own colors , from the palette
of their own comprehension . writing a play
is , however , entirely different because the
playwright has to simultaneously keep
every minute details of the stage in his mind
while at the same time , progressing the
plot such as expressing a character as best
as possible through her dialogues , and such
, because here, the audience understands
and sees through the eyes of the playwright
himself.
