Instructions
▶ This activity may be done individually or as a group (max 6ppl).
▶ You will be given a set of clues and/or questions that you have to
answer regarding works from the National Museum (National
Museum of Fine Arts)
▶ The entire group must go through each clue/question TOGETHER.
You cannot divide and conquer.
▶ You must take a groufie/selfie with the correct artwork that would
answer the clue/question.
▶ The group must also photo document their entire museum
adventure.
▶ Upload the activity sheet in PDF/PPTX/JPEG format with the
attached photos of the artworks by MARCH 6.
Tips
▶ Entrance to the museum FREE!
▶ The museum is closed on Mondays
▶ You are allowed to take photos, but only use personal cameras or phone cams (NO
FLASH photography)
▶ Bring PENCILS only! (Ink based pens are not allowed)
▶ Take as much photos and raw footage as you can at the museum; you can select the
best answer afterwards.

Instructions
● Visit the National Museum of Anthropology
(where the artifacts are)
● Each group will create a life story of a fictitious
pre-colonial Filipino;
● Each member should select any 1 artifact and
create a chapter within the life of that person
based on that object. (ex. infancy, childhood,
adolescence, adulthood, etc)
● All of the stories from each member will be
compiled in 1 PDF file, inclusive of photos.
● Youcannot use the Manunggul jar.

● The life story could be part fictional, part factual.
● The life story that you will create will be your own
invention; it must be connected to the use or origin
of the object/artifact that you have selected.
● Include a photo of your selected object (no
repetitions within the group)
● You may add illustrations
● Creatively layout your works into a book format.
● Design and include a cover.
● To be submitted in PDF FORMAT via Google Drive

1. How many files to submit? 2 in total
1 PDF file for the photo essay.

2. Can we be less than 6 in a group?
Pwede less, but not more.
3. How many artifacts do we need to choose for the photo essay?
1 per person.
4. Kelangan po ba totoo yung story? Pwede po fictional?
Pwede kahit ano (fact and fictional).
5. Paano po kung hindi magsubmit yung isang kagrupo?
Bigyan sila ng deadline, kung hindi pa rin magsubmit, sabihan sila (at
ako) na mag-individual na sila.
FORMAT:
1. Title Page - Overall title/theme of the group, Complete names of
all of the group members, section.
2. Photos and narratives arranged PER MEMBER (wag po halo-halo
para alam ko kung ano ang gawa ng bawat isa)
3. Make sure that the layout is cohesive.
4. Make sure that your narratives are easy to read (wag lunurin ng
background)
5. Last page - CITE YOUR SOURCES (if applicable)
6. Save as - PDF file (may be converted from Word or Powerpoint)
7. Filename - <Last names of members>
example: Member1,Member2,Member3.pdf
How will you be graded?
▶ Individual work – 50%
▶ Creativity and content of the narrative - 50pts
▶ Connection between the photos and the text - 50pts

▶ Group work – 50%


▶ Cohesiveness of all of the narratives – 50pts
▶ Activity sheet – 50pts
