Closing the Divide

Smartphones
Minorities can use cell phones as an alternative to connect to the online world. Now a
days everyone has a phone. Even kids and grandparents have high powered phones of their own.
Mobile compering is growing raiding, and they are getting cheaper. You can easily get an
Android smartphone for less than $100. The best thing about it is, researchers say, prices for
phones will almost certainly continue to drop. People can also use phones just like they would a
computer.

Computers
Computers play an important role in attempting to close the digital divide. It could be in schools
for students, so they can have access to internet even if they don’t have a cellphone. Without
students getting a chance to use computers. Many children will have lower experience when they
get older with just basic technology. Cause cellphones and computers are gateways to other
technology.
