CLOSING DIGITAL DIVIDE

A way to close the digital divide is easy but can be expensive. One way is to help those who
cannot afford the cost of computers, internet, or any useful electronic device. Providing these
products to those who cannot afford is allowing them to gain more knowledge about the basic
regarding technology. Everyone should learn how to use them because they play a big part of
society.
One device can be a computer, this is something every home should have. Even apartments,
depending on the kind of apartment you live in residents have public access to computers. Even
hotels have free Wifi and desktops available for their guess.
Another device is tablets, if schools provide this for their students it could make their students
lives way easier. Especially grades 8-12, I say this because students are normally required to
type up papers. If they don’t have the technology to do this they have to make provisions to go
out of their way to type it up, when they could do it in the comfort of their home.
