    Two technologies that can help to close the Digital Divide

    The first technology that can help close the digital divide is schools lending out laptop to
    students to take home. How this can help close the divide is by allowing students the opportunity
    to take home laptops will open up doors for them in the future. Especially now where the world
    is running by technology, it will help the students enter the work force already knowing the
    basics on how to use computers.

    The second technology that can help close the digital divide is companies like comcast
    helping the less fortunate families by providing them broadband connection so they can have
    internet at lower prices. How this is going to help is by providing internet connection to the ones
    who can’t afford it will help them stay connected to the evolving world. Also, this will tie in with
    the first way to close the divide by helping those students who don’t have internet at home to
    connect to the internet with the laptops their school lent out.
