Electronic Expansion Valve For Samsung DVM S Systems

Samsung DVM S wall-mounted units (AM0**FNTDCH/AA) and under-ceiling units

(AM0**FNCDCH/AA) require installation of an external EEV.

MEV-A**SA allows connection of up to one indoor unit.

INSTALLATION

- Install in a location that is accessible for future access

- Install vertically

- Connect the included strainer to the refrigerant inlet port labeled "IN".

- Liquid refrigerant from the outdoor condensing unit or heat recovery MCU will

connect to the inlet port via the included strainer.

- The outlet port labeled "OUT" will connect to the "liquid" pipe of the Samsung

wall-mounted unit or under-ceiling unit.

- The MEV-A**SA electronic expansion valve will be controlled and powered by the

indoor unit that it is piped to.

- The MEV-A**SA will include an extension wire to extend the EEV wire.

- This wire will plug directly into the indoor unit PCB (CN808)

- Maximum 7' of copper pipe between the MEV-A**SA and the indoor unit pipe

connection.

- Install included strainer on the inlet of the EEV.

- Once a system pressure check has been performed, wrap all connections with

provided insulation and sound absorbing materials.
