The Department of Education (DepEd) through the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) shall conduct the 2019-2020 Division Festival of Talents (DFOT) with the theme “Celebrating Humanity and Cultural Diversity” at Reina Mercedes Vocational and Industrial School, Reina Mercedes, Isabela on October 7-8, 2019 at exactly 8:00 o ‘clock in the morning, 2. The 2019 DFOT aims to provide opportunity for learners from public and private elementary and secondary schools, as well as learners from Alternative Learning System (ALS), Indigenous Peoples Education (IPED), Special Education (SPED), and Madrasah/Muslim Education Program (MEP) to showcase their talents and skills through exhibition of their products, services and performances. 3. The 2019-2020 DFOT consists of the following skills exhibitions in different areas: ‘* Technolympics (Technology and Livelihood Education and Technical-Vocational- Livelihood); ‘© Sining Tanghalan (MAPEH); * Population Development (Araling Panlipunan); + Tagisan ng Talento (Filipino)/lispel Mo 2019!/Paligsahan sa Pagtatalumpati (JCl); + Language Skills Competition (SPFL, SPED, MEP); and © Science Skills 4. Participants 1. The participants of the 2019-2020 Division Festival of Talents will showcase their products and performances in the events as evidences of their learning in the different learning areas. 2. Participation is open to any learner who is- 2.1 currently enrolled in public or private elementary, secondary schools (Junior and Senior High Schools) for SY 2019-2020; 2.2. enrolled in other inclusion programs, with Learner Reference Number (LRN) for SY 2019-2020; and 2.3. officially enrolled in secondary level Alternative Learning System (ALS) with Learner Reference Number (LRN) for SY 2019-2020 3. Alearner is allowed to participate in one (1) skill exhibition during the Division Festival of Talents. 4, The details or specific requirements for participation are articulated in the guidelines of each event. 5. The working area should be cleaned by contestants immediately after every event. 6. Skills Exhibition Entries at the Division Level 1. Only one (1) per event per Area is eligible to compete in the Division level. 2. Each Legislative District shall conduct Area Level elimination to ensure quality of all entries at the Division level. 1. All participants and teacher-coach-trainer/adviser will receive a certificate of recognition. 2. The top 3 winners per event will receive a certificate of recognition & medal. 3. Only the Champion for each different skill exhibition will qualify to the regional level. 4. The Point System will be used to determine the Over-All Champion during the DFOT. 5.
