UNDERGROUND
RAILWAY
The toy museum of Mechelen is moving to a
new location. This location is situated under the
parking lot of Mechelens grand railway station.
Due to this change a new concept is wanted.

The idea is to merge toys with the location

through railway-mapping. We use distinctive
colored routes to guide both adults and children
towards interactive stations within the museum.
Visitors can follow any route and stop at a
desired location. These stops exist of intriguing
geometrical forms, where you can walk under,
in, around and even go inbetween two volumes.
This creates the opportunity for both children
and adults to experience all different types of
playing as wel as enjoying all the beautiful toys
that were created from the beginning of time.

Our vision: be more than just a sight, be an

unforgettable experience.
