• Accommodation: Hostel accommodation has been arranged for candidates coming for interviews. (For Male candidates:

you wish to avail this hostel facility, contact the caretaker of the appropriate hostel upon arrival. You can stay as a guest in
these hostels at a nominal rate of Rs. 400/- per day, which includes (boarding and lodging) without bedding. Bring a Demand
Draft for Rs. 400/- in favour of "Deans Discretionary Fund <Hostel name> Hostel" (e.g. In favour of "Deans Discretionary
Fund, Nilgiri Hostel" for male applicants) and handover the draft to Caretaker of the hostel.
• Advisory: New Delhi is hot during mid may. It is very dry and hot at 40 degree Celsius. We advise you to carry a bottle of
drinking water when you go around

2. Original degree and mark certificates of all qualifying examinations (starting from 10+2 onwards)
3. Score Card of GATE / NET / Other National Level Examination (if applicable)
4. OBC (Non-creamy Layer) / SC / ST / PH certificate (if applicable). (Please submit the enclosed form for OBC and
Non-creamy layer)
5. Sponsorship / No-objection Certificate (for Part-Time / Sponsored Candidates) (exactly in the wordings as given in
the information brochure on the PG admission website)

2. Academic documents to be presented at the time of interview / written test:


1. Bachelors and /or Masters project dissertation
2. A one-page write-up on your research interests (For Phd Candidates)

3. Candidates eligible for Ph.D. (Full-time with assistantship) are entitled to reimbursement of Travelling Allowance for the
journey made in connection with the interview by shortestroute at sleeper class rail fare. TA/DA will be transferred directly to
your bank account. Forthis, you will require to have a bank account in your name. You will also need to bring the filled-up
TA/DA form that would require the following particulars:
