 Tunnel ventilation is provided for the following reasons:
1) Remove the pressure during the operation of train
2) Removal of smoke during fire
3) Ventilation during maintenance period
4) For smoke free evacuation
 Tunnel ventilation exhaust shaft ( a shaft provided at the each end of the
station from ground to concourse level)
 Tunnel ventilation supply shaft ( a shaft provided at the each end of the
station from ground to concourse level)
